. Rigel Herrera was born in Guadalajara (Jalisco, Mexico) in 1975.

Lives and works in Mexico City. His work has been exhibited collectively in more than 80 exhibitions in museums and galleries in Mexico City and in the interior of the Republic, in the USA, Spain, England, Italy, France and Ireland and in 2013 in Hiroshima, Japan. He has had 10 solo exhibitions in Mexico. The most recent, "Shibumi" at the Art Gallery of the Ministry of Economy, of which she is the director to date, and "The Garden of Delights" at the Traeger & Pinto Gallery in July 2016. She is currently exhibiting at "We started with a kiss "a collective at the Museo Universitario del Chopo and prepares his individual in Chicago, USA.
